google web directory is no longer avaible

    Why should you not believe Google ? You mentioned the text on the directory and you still ask us if it is true ?

    Well but this directory was just a clone from DMOZ just under domain of Google. They somehow syndicated url's from one to another but quit doing it a while ago.
    I haven't seen press statement for this, but I believe they are closed for good

    Never used google directory, but I think the Dmoz is already good enough.

    Google closed their web directory. Now Dmoz is available instead of that.
