For signitures; does it count as one link or many?

Hi, if I link to my website through a forum, will that be considered ONE link or will it be considered as a link everytime I post something.. so if I have 200 posts I'll have 200 backlinks?

Each post would count, but of course I would say that google wouldn't value 50 backlinks from the same domain the same as it would 50 from differet sources.

and is there a difference between putting the link in the signature and putting it in the main post?

 

No there isn't big difference where you place your link within a forum post. The main thing is that url placed in your signature will look less spammy than URL in the the forum post unless it is really related to discussion.

 

Well, i also feeling same as you tell here, but i am sure that if you post 200 link then it is not possible to get 200 back links, it is depend upon visitors that also read your post and any one interested than also click on signature. In this way consider a signature way.

I don't think that link in the signature is considered as separate backlink....

 

Yes, each post with your signature or anchor text would count but like Sturm said, its Google who will decide which backlinks have value. Backlinks from 50 different websites related to your niche would boost your rankings better than 50 ones from the same site.

No, each one counts as a backlink, the question is what value Google considers each link to have. As someone else said, 200 links from the same domain aren't going to have the same value as 200 links from different domains.

It will not count 200 back-links, because google count 200 links as a 1 link if they are coming from 1 domain.

 

It will only increase your link count. But you need to bring links from different domains if you are looking to get higher rankings.

 

for each post your link cannot be treated as a backlink in Google. Threads which are indexed by Google will only considered as a backlink., if you provide your site signature in those google indexed threads will be considered as a backlink.,

i would say is replying to the Thread which is indexed by Google is more important than other threads in Backlink's perspective (Google SE - you get backlinks) .., but if your not interested in backlinks..,then its better to be active participant in forum which is SEO perspective (you get traffic)..,
