Is it just me, or did anyone else notice that Google is now updating the toolbar pagerank more frequently? It used to be once every 3 months or so, but now I found it jumping 3 times in the last month.
Yup, i second that. i have added a few inner pages to my PR3 website and after 10 days or so most of them are either sitting at PR3 or PR2. earlier it used to be months to see the changes but now its too frequent. Anyways, its good to see PR changing. specially when your pages are getting a boost every week or so.
I found they changed but not sure how often they did for now everything looks like it should for the quality and links of the sites.
W3bmaster is right, it's a useless number. I wouldn't be surprised if Google made them up to distract you from what's really important. The only number you should be watching is your income (Or traffic). You could have a PR8 site with no visitors about Dog Poo. What's the point of that? It's an authority rank. If your site is the king of dogs**t, good for you, but who cares? Is dog poo gonna make you money? If so, you're much wiser than me. (I hope the mods don't get onto me for saying dogs**t but they gotta admit, this post was golden)
Yep but as long as people care when buying links / Ads I'll care and check from time to time if I can raise prices
Not sure I agree with that, it may have happened for a number of reasons the major being the Google Panda Update.
