@The Webby Actually I ran into Mobius yesterday on a thread and he was quite civil to me even though I had teased him a bit.I told him the truth that I actually missed him as it gets boring without him.And w3bmaster came on my new thread today and posted 2 posts and was quite nice as well.Webby I want to give them the benifit of the doubt and I for one will extend my hand out in friendship and let bygones be bygones.
That's very noble of you. I often "turn the other cheek", too. It's a sign of a strong person. Quick question, what does "[o]" mean?
@BRUm Thanks but with my hot temper turning the other cheek doesn't always come easy for me. @logaseo [o]Is supposed to be a smile, how should I write it?
@logaseo What is Raksha Bhandhan day and who is he? Forgive me but some of us in the west are ignorant of Indian traditions."General Chat" is the place we go to learn about stuff like this.
I am very happy to tell about Raksha Bhandhan. Raksha Bhandhan is the one of famous festival in India. which celebrates the relationship between brothers and sisters. The central ceremony involves the tying of a Rakhi another name (sacred thread) by a sister on her brother's wrist. This symbolizes the sister's love and prayers for her brother's well-being,and the brother's lifelong vow to protect her. why it is called sacred thread means most of girls tie Rakhi to his boy friends wrist, so most of all boys don't come outside if the boys comes out means girls tie Rakhi and make them brothers. sorce:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raksha_Bandhan
@logaseo This is a beautiful tradition and I have heard of it.I just didn't know what it was called.Thank you very much for explaining it to us.Surely India is a magical place to have traditions such as these.
@logaseo No country exists that doesn't have some problems. @The Webby Sorry but I'm not following you.I don't quite get what you wrote.(-> What is that supposed to mean? P.S. wait now that I've posted it,I get it.....thanks!.......(->
@BRUm Thanks for being a gentleman and replacing the word "stupidity" with "naivete",much appreciated. @The Webby O.K. I'm going to try it now and post, see what will happen...here goes......
There are times when I think that birds are wiser than we are. They don't need to go to markets to buy food, don't need doctors or psychiatrists. No pills or money, don't need cars etc. They sing, fly, make love and are happy.Their lives are simple and uncomplicated. Can we say the same?
