    Hi,

I am currently working on the SEO of my website, and I just wanted to know if having the majority of your backlinks as dofollow can actually look unnatural and damage your rankings? What combination could work best (i.e. 70% dofollow, 25% nofollow, 5% error pages)?

    Thanks in advance!

Its said to be good if you have a combination of both, but i have never read something which talks about the exact % of both.

talking technically, i would say its better not to focus much on nofollow as they were originally invented to fight spam and hence are of little/no use.

building numerous dofollow links overnight might harm your sites rankings but doing it properly over a predefined time span will not harm you.
