Back links or content?

    What is important for getting better search engine ranking Content or back links? My experience is that i submit quality content many times in my website but it goes not get better position in search engine with out any back links.

    For me quality content always works in less competitive niches. However, in competitive niches we cannot survive without quality backlinks. Anyway quality content is the first thing we need if we want to get a high Search Rank in Google and backlink comes in next position.

    You need both on page SEO + proper backlinking strategies o complete the SEO picture. Pure quality content in competitive niche will not help you to rank in first page of Google. You can, however, do it with just OPSEO on other niches without much competition.

    Of course, content is king. Backlinks are also vital, but make sure that your backlinks are coming from relevant content for the best of both worlds.

    hello,

    as we know SEO is divided in two ON SITE SEO & OFF SITE SEO.
    having a great content goes for ONSITE SEO
    having great backlinks goes for OFFSITE SEO.

    If you have one without another is NO GOOD, it's like using just one hand when you could use both of them.
    You have to get both of them done in order to rank higher and have sales/visits.

    Content and Back link both are matter for ranking. If your site has good content you found a great no. of visitors. If you have use good back links for submission then you got a good visibility in search engine. so both are important friend.

    Backlink is a link which you get from other websites.It is a important thing in SEO work.By this there will be increase in the sites PR.
