I am actually looking to buy a vps plan to start a forum ( small one ) My budget is very low and i do not have much knowledge about VPS'es . So i started googling a bit and found out that buying a control panel along with vps will be a costly affair for me thus i will be using Webmin or Kloxo or solusVM if the provider provides it for free . what are the other good qualities which i should be looking at ? like how will i test the ips they give me the speed etc ? regards goodselleronline
Taking into consideration your needs, I can put forward a suggestion to have a look at hostcats.com Linux VPS hosting deals. based on the number of positive reviews from users who have been with them for a long time, can say that you can rely on them.
There are many web hosts available in the market as it is becoming more and more competitive. Try to do Google search on certain domain of the host and find any possible signs of reliability.
I made you an offer, check your PM. It's hosting on my VPS with all the resources you'll need. Exept you don't really own the VPS. cPanel it's not included but you're ready to go with kloxo in just a few clicks. Check www2.pics.io and see how fast it runs.
Solusvm is just to control your virtual box, where as if its just your start you can get a good shared hosting account, where you will easily be getting techical support. where as with vps you need to manage things on your own, and it its unmanaged then there will be a lot of problems, and if you buy shared hosting you will be enjoying cPanel too.
