What is the difference between P3,P4,Core2 computers?

    P3 = Old - Does it still exist in this world?
    P4 = Slow - If you want to use WinXP and use for internet only, it will fit you
    Core2 = Normal - Better than nothing :) . You may install Win7 and use it for work.

    P3 = Pentium 3 - old Intel processors that came out in year 2000.
    P4 = Pentium 4 - old Intel processors that came out in year 2002.
    Core2 = Intel Core 2 Duo - Intel processor came out in year 2005 and included 2 processing cores on single chip.

    The latest processors in the market are second generation Intel i3, i5 and i7 processors.

    They are all Intel's products. p3, p4 are older versions and core is the current version.i3,i5,i7 are the latest versions.

    P3,p4 are quite slow compare to core2 computers,core means a dual processor,which executes the applications faster and it is a multi programming task too,Now a days only core2 computers are the most available on market..
