Boicot to sitepoint forums

    hi, just wanted to give you an advice: do NOT post in reviews section carelessly or else you will be banned forever

    I just posted something like "Please review my site www" and post was not even made because moderators had to review it.

    Yeah I didn't follow the rules (you have to do x reviews in 30 days) but this is not SPAM, and why a ban instead of infraction points? why not just a rejection of my thread? and rules do not say insta-ban for posting wrong!! sitepoint sucks

    Anyways, not a big loss because DP rules :p:p

    First off the word is spelled "boycott".Secondly you do not appear to have been banned forever.Lastly I would like to point out to everyone here that DP offers a free service.It is a privilege to be a member not a right.I believe we do have the right to question the decisions of the mods,but shouldn't have the right to critisize.I for one accept that if I don't like it here on DP I can always leave by not posting....end of story.
    Mod bashing is not only unhelpful but uncool.

    Why should they allow a member who does not contribute? What is SPAM? You did not contribute enough, and you wanted to get reviews [Read: Advertise] for your site. So yes that qualifies as SPAM. Next time, follow the rules and you will be fine...

    Diva he is talking about Sitepoint not Digitalpoint. :D
    But yeah what you said stands for any forum...

    I was member like 4 years ago, had enought posts, bought/sold stuff in the market, posted tutorials, etc...

    They should be more explicit and edit the rules to say the truth: "If you do not follow the rules in reviews section, then you are instabanned forever."

    With all this, sitepoint, I repeat, is not a big loss at all :cool:
