For that you have to study about the click bank thoroughly. Read some article or ebook related to click bank. Do not join the affiliate program without knowing it. because your account will get deleted if you not make any sales for the span of 3 months. Beware.
Pick a product you like in any category from clickbank, then have a look at the sales page this will give you an idea about the keywords that you can use to promote the product. Note down whom this product is made for and what do people search on the net to find such product(keywords). Next move to "google keyword tool" (free) then type in the the keywords you think are relevant and you will get a list of keywords which are closely related to the keyword you entered. Select only those keywords which have less than 10,000 competitors when search with quotes " keyword" and start writing articles on them with your affiliate links embedded into your article and submit to free article directories. This will ensure you get regular sales if you have written good number of articles and submitted to directories. More the articles better your chances of earning money best method for a beginner.

Set your goals higher, man. Set it to at least one sale per day, and even that's not hard. It'll just take awhile, try simple SEO tactics.

Well I use a good squeeze page with a free offer to capture leads first, gain the trust on my leads then later on sell to them when they must have gain my trust. Find high ranking forums urls or blog urls and post comment with affiliate links shrinnked by a URL shortner. Also post comment on yahoo answers though do not be spamy. This I think is much better than writting articles which takes much time and it may not get traffic if it does not rank high.

You can easily choose high converting products on CB - just choose anyone of them with at least 30 gravity score (or higher) to start with. Build a website / landing page and drive traffic to it using article marketing (BUM marketing) or SEO, or even paid traffic such as solo ads or FB advertising or Google PPC
Pick a famous product, make 3-4 articles about it. Spin them 10 times/ each. Submit every article to directories, make backlinks. This is one way to do it. Good luck.
