Advantages of G+ against FB

What are the advantages/features of Google+ against Facebook? Can you sight some of these advantages?
I believe its the G+ hangouts. 

 

Well, I like the mobility of the social circles in that you don't have to allow everyone that is "linked" to your account to view certain aspects of your profile. Also, G+ looks more cleaner and appears to load faster.

 

Facebook is far away from G+ because of its wide number of users otherwise technology features look almost similar

 

G+ allows its user to do video chat and that too a group chat. Awesome thing!!!

1. Google+ provides better privacy and well layered grouping – Circles
2. Google+ does not have annoying applications like facebook (may be yet)
3. Google+ combines facebook and twitter together when the main features are concerned
4. Google+ is simple and sweet – May be just because it is new
5. Google+ uses the google chat for chatting. It is much better than facebook chat
6. Google hangout is far better than the Facebook video chat

 

so far Google+ has a cleaner template, (no or) less advertisement, no useless applications (yet).. It's like a social networking site for professionals (I haven't seen fraud and ridiculous profiles yet)

Thanks alot for the great analysis and information "lucyyoung". Still for the comparison point of view i believe that with all these new features Google plus still need to compete Facebook with extra ordinary marketing campaigns as currently facebook has covered maximum market share. and i am sure Google can do this with in short duration.

 

Definately separating your groups- friends, family, work etc.

 

The separation of family members, Friends and others is a very good feature of Google + .The circles are very good,The site is very simple just like the Google.

 

i find google+ completely useless. if you want privacy, just use facebook with fake info

 

I didn't get any advantages on google plus but is circle is a preferable feature to me. That bit easiest to create catagory of friends like friends,familly,famous etc.
But i have very few friend on Google+ where as a vast number of friend is added on FB friend list and i already created a positive interaction with them through facebook.

Google is just testing the waters with the new Google +. Once it decides to fully launch the Google + Facebook will be looking for a place to hide. People are getting a bit annoyed with Facebook now and Google seems like the heir to the throne.

I just starts using Google Plus and have less idea about Google Plus but I know that facebook is best and worlds famous social networking website that are helping more in creating a hugs of traffic at your web pages profile.

 

I'm a new member to Google +, and as for my observations, and compared to FB, Google + is useless to me. I could not even send a private message to those who are in my circle. The other thing that is keeping me in Facebook are the applications, game applications mostly that accompany me in boring hours, which are not present in Google +.

 

I think so Google + will cross the Facebook. but it will take some time..!
