What online software can I use for my clients? to manage and communicate

    I need online software where I can enter new clients. Enter the tasks I will be performing for them. Then when each task is complete client receives email. Maybe they can log in themselves and check status and also communicate. Is there such a thing? is this CRM or project management? Thanks JC

    SugarCRM might be of some use. There is a free open source edition you can install.
