Hi we are looking for a professional logo design for our company. Name: HomeIndiaHome You can see the current logo at http://www.homeindiahome.com/ Problems with current logo: 1. The text in the logo is too small and the roof looks too big. We are looking for something with larger text. Please look at our competitor's websites for an example: http://www.allcheckdeals.com, http://www.proptiger.com and http://www.agnipropertycom and http://www.hdfcred.com. We would prefer something along those lines i.e. only a text based logo or logo with larger text and a small graphic. I really like the logo of allcheckdeals.com as it looks very prominent and is easily readable due to the colour combination and the boldness of the font. 2. Looking at the various entries we have decided to not go for any graphic in the logo. So all we are looking for is our company name HomeIndiaHome written in some good bold and catchy font, like the logo of flickr or facebook or Microsoft 3. We have decided to drop the slogan "Dream. Dare. Buy." and the ".com" from the logo. So we don't want any slogan or .com in the logo. 4. The logo currently uses 3-4 colours. We want only 2 colours for the logo. It must look like a professional 2 colour corporate logo. allcheckdeals.com uses Red and Black, however you are free to experiment with fresh colours. We dont want our logo to look similar to any of those sites. We are looking for some fresh colours. Something different from our competitors, so definitely not red and black. We like the colours on the flickr logo. A couple of colours that we liked are http://www.colourlovers.com/color/3333FF/Brilliant_Blue andhttp://www.colourlovers.com/color/7FAF1B/elle_etait_belle. However, I would apreciate if you can come up with your own combination.   Competition runs for 3 Days and if we select a winner payment will be made via Paypal or other means immediately.  We have decided to raise the stakes to $40 from $25 since we are so choosy and this involves quite a lot of work.
@italianddl: Didn't like any of the two concepts. First one has too large a roof. Didn't like the roof in the background. In the second one, I didn't like the zoom out effect and roof. The logo is looking too huge from one end and too narrow from the other. Doesn't look uniform. Â
This logo looks great I'd like to see another version with a few changes 1. Change the graphic from houses to something involving buildings as thats what we deal in mostly. 2. The graphic looks much bigger as compared to the text. Reduce the size of the graphic. 3. Try a different combination of colours, maybe a blue, green or orange instead of the red, since red and black are already being used by our competitors. You could try one with a dark background and light text (for eg. white on blue bg)
Thank you for all the entries. I would want to see a graphic involving buildings instead of houses as thats what we mostly deal in. I would love to see a few variations with the letters in the Company Name used to derive a building, however, I do not want to lose the readability of our company name. Our current favourite is digital_irfans logo  I look forward to any other entries or revisions. Thanks!
Your entry looks good however I do not like the colours you have used, they aren't contrasting and attractive. I would prefer darker colours. I also request you to not go for the colours used on our current website, as we will be going for a complete design change, so it doesn't have to fit in to the current design.
