Because facebook does not support more than 5000 friends in a single account

I Imarketerkatebennie: You know, I have pimped alot of my cartoon products on FB, to no avail....See the "gifts" link on my index page (in my sig)? Well, those are Zazzle stores with products that have alot of my cartoons on them. The products range from mousepads, t-shirts and ipad covers to keychanins and magnets....well, after posting links on my "wall"...not much gets bought. I am not certain how best to use FB as a marketing device. I mean, "liking" a picture on a fiends wall etc. is OK, but gets boring veerry fast. And as I mention, I have almost 5000 friends and now get this, almost 400 pending friend requests. I really need to get some solid info on what I ought to do. All of the suggestions here have been great....keep them coming.

Well, I now have almost 500 current friend requests to accept....and cannot accept them, since I have reached exactly 5000 friends (the limit) so I don't know if I should just delete the current 500 friend requests or what should I do? It's still confusing because there are no real steps mentioned on what someone should do when they reach the limit. Thank you!

I still think the best thing to do is create a fan page and tell them to "like" it and then unfriend you. Problem solved

It makes more sense, it's just that facebook tend to not like people signing up a "people" profile, then promoting a business from it. So the sooner you do it the better really, as they may close your account. Also, it is a far better lay out doing it that way.

    Hi DirectoryDude:
I'm targeting editors, publishers, advertising agency art directors, creative directors at corporations and media outlets including book publishers and photo editors because I offer images which are actually gag panel cartoons....I also specialize in creating "custom cartoons"
