Selling PR1 Link directory for sale

PR1 web directory for sale. The directory is getting 3,643 uniques visitors with 12,843 page impressions per month. The domain name was registered and the site was set up on 3/30/2011. The domain name will expire on 3/30/2012. The domain names was registered with GoDaddy.

Reason for selling:

I don't have time for my websites anymore due to my studies and my dayjob.


I did some linkbuilding through directory submissions (this means hundreds of submissions) and forum posting (buyer will receive all the backlinks report), but I never really had time to do proper traffic generation. Although the traffic is gradually increasing, I'm sure that the new owner will be able to do much better. The directory receives a lot of submissions everyday.

The administration of the directory is very easy, it does most of the tasks automatically. The in-built pay pal system is designed to accept payments for featured links, regular links or reciprocal links. The price of the links can be set by logging in to the admin panel of the directory.

You can also further monetize the site with text-links or banners. The site already has a PR1 and a quite good Alexa ranking. I'm sure the Google PR will increase on the next PR update. A directory with PR2 or 3+ can easily sell featured links since they appear on the main page pf the directory.

Technical details:

The site is running on the latest PHP Linkdirectory script. The new owner will get the license as well (worth $30)
I have the site running on my VPS with a few other sites. It's better if the buyer has a VPS too because on a shared hosting account some features of the script may not work properly, but I've seen people running the script on shared hosts as well.

Hi,

I did not indicate any adsense revenue because the clicks I received were negligible. I haven't really experimented putting them in different positions, though.

I've attached a screenshot about last month clickbank sale. It was from a bookmarking demon sale I'm advertising on the submit page.

 

What made the traffic go up loads at the start? 

 

The site got listed at directorycritic. When a new site gets listed there, for a few days it will be listed on the main page of the new directories.
