3 Months and still not indexed in Google

It's been three months but my website AreYouRated.com is still not yet indexed in google. It is however indexed in Yahoo and MSN though. Anyone have an idea why Google is not indexing me? Sitemaps tells me 404 pages (old static pages but are now changed into dynamic pages, ex: categories, etc.).

Golly - having your site in a DP signature is generally enough to get a site indexed. I see you have that. The next step is more backlinks.

I think that you've not submitted it to google and other search engines...
After submission to google it index in 6-8 weeks....

I can submit that to more than 300 engines... it's complimantry service ;)

    update me if you're interested...

Oh boy... This isn't 1996 - it is 2006. You don't submit to Google - Google finds you. It finds you via links. Generally, a link in your sig is enough - I am not sure why you need to go beyond that, but it sounds like you do.

According to iwebtool's Google Banned Checker Tool, your domain might be banned, as you have no indexed pages and no PageRank. You may need to submit a re-inclusion request to Google.

Yahoo has only indexed 2 pages from your site, and shows only two backlinks.

Your /robots.txt file is missing - some search engines won't crawl your site if it is missing. Recommend that you created an empty file.

    Hey Phynder,

GOOGLE find you through links... it is true... but while AreYouRated.com doesn't have any backlinks, submission to google is the fastest way to get indexed...

That isn't how you check. No PR and no indexed pages does not mean your banned.

that is a big myth. Submitting to Google TAKES LONGER than if you never submit.

Well, 96 links - but that should be plenty. It is a constant battle - keep getting those links!

LMAO. A domain name I bought 2 weeks ago, which was not previously indexed and only had a blank page on it's homepage (no content) already has been indexed by Google.

You must really be doing something wrong.

Well, my website AreYouRated.com finally became indexed in Google and traffic has increased a lot. Today was a good day. MSN and Yahoo are not that bad but Google has became the major search engine source in just 1 day.

    the reason ?

    time !

give it some time and keep getting more links, 70 is like nothing, you need 300-440 to start with, ok, less will do to get indexed but that's just the beginning ... you need links, links and links !
