I want to discuss the best Press Release Submission Strategy followed by people here. Firstly, Paid or Free Have you ever tried paid distribution mediums? If yes, which sites give you maximum value for money. For Free, has it been useful submitting to say 40 sites? Please lets not share lists but rather discuss the way you have gone with it. I have been doing it for some time on free sites with mixed results. And sites with good PR's are always becoming paid all the time so I need to keep updating the sites.
Try to make your press release link wheel : find paid press release and submit your press release and your link there, after that you create another press release and now submit this to free press release site but this time use link from paid press release.
paid PR is the trend for marketing now. It's hard to get traffic from free PR site now. While the free service from paid PR sites is just to attract customers but not visitors. Your submitted free news get no exposure from them. According it's no use to make the use of the free service from paid PR sites. But if you can post links in some free PR sites, it's still a good way to build backlinks (don't expect to get lots of traffics unless you provide amazing services or products).
Which paid site would you recommend??... I have to do like 2-3 PR's a month... ereleases, prweb which one??
hello, it depends on you, your products/services, your budget, your markets, your targets, etc. As each PR service has its advantage, such as PRN and BW seems dominant in US. So if your targets are in US, they are good for you, but the price are expensive. I never have used erelease, but have tried PR web, lucky that it brought traffics to us, but the conversion rate is not... You can have a research for all the news wire and contact them for more details. Hope my answer is helpful for you. Good luck

Thanks.. what do u consider a good result? Traffic/visitors or backlinks. Most of the free PR sites hardly include any anchor texts? Can you tell me any websites which have helped you build backlinks... Thanks
I have always tried free press release submission services, and this tactics works. I have never tried paid press release submissions for a press release submission but anyone can try it, if want to afford some investments. Free press release submissions are widely used services which are used by most of the web masters.
what do you consider that "works for you", links or visitors?? Can you tell me the sites which have given good results to you? most of the free sites i submit don't include anchor texts, do you know any site which does?
