What ping services do you use?

As you probably know you have a list (http://codex.wordpress.org/Update_Services) of update services for WordPress, however i am not familiar with all those services...

What do you guys use and why? Is it one better than others? Is it good to use all of them?

    Thank for your input.

I use pingomatic.com service only..I only put 2 sites in the "ping list".Don't put too many sites in that list, that will take much time when publishing time .

I do it manually, although you can have WordPress ping automatically. I am a control freak, so I like to do it myself.

What additional control do you gain by doing it manually?

When you hit the publish button in WP, the list you have to be "pinged" are pinged (pung?). I don't want that, because when I publish I always go back and change my post about three-four times. Sometimes I go away and come back an hour later and make more changes. Once I am happy, I just ping Pingoat.

I am sure most of you think I am a bit off.
