Gahhhhh!

Okay, I'm going rant here..... but I'm not going to name names, but I'm sure every Native English Writer on this forum has the same thoughts, I'm just willing to rant publicly.  I'm sick of the attitudes of some of these website operators from the middle east.  I charge on average a pretty low rate for a native English writer two to three cents a word.  When they tell me they want lower rates I tell them thats my rate and they are free to go elsewhere if they don't like it.  Then they get this attitude that because I speak English as a first language that I'm better than them.  The fact is I am better than them at typing English.  I'm not discriminating.

And then I also hate the morons who nag you on instant messenger every thirty seconds while your trying to get their work done.

And then there is the clowns who think they can change their contract with you when you finish their work.

I have a few good clients from the Middle east, who keep their word, pay on time, and are a pleasure to do business with.  Most of them however make me want to run to become president and prohibit the sale of articles to anyone in the Middle East from the United States.

    GAH!

    </rant>

Mainly here here - although i've so far only had good experience with buyers from the middle east.

I mainly however am sick of clients telling me i'm too expensive compared to other writers on DP (I don't mind when they say it politely). If you think i'm too expensive go elsewhere but don't have the audacity to tell me how to run my own business and don't you dare compare my prices to people who wouldn't understand English if it slapped them with a wet haddock.

Ah it's nice to vent sometimes
    Rant over
    Have a great day DP
And yes more pirating would have been desirable in this thread

If you're tired of being interrupted, stop using IM.

If a client asks for your IM address, politely explain that you don't use one because you need large amounts of uninterrupted time to write.

I turn on IM when someone needs to talk to me, or when I am having a slow week and need some extra attention. Otherwise I usually keep it off so that stuff will get done. It helps.

    Well said.

    Couldn't agree more.

If more people took notice of it, what a better world it would be.

So I get board go to DP to see what is the lasted internet scams, fads and nickel dime tricks. Then I ask myself why the hell am I even replying to this thread??

Native English writers from Pakistan, SEO experts with sites that rank for noting at all, wealthy marketing experts trying to sell $3 ebooks,

But once in a while you can find a interesting story or laugh. Just another day at the circus.

This problem will never get solved if you keep looking at them. Open the doors for another market. Period.
