Averaging $2.59 a click.

I am averaging $2.59 a click with a current website i created. I am impressed with this, no project i have done in the past has generated this high of earnings per click or so many clicks. The best part is its a simple website with no need for updates. I am thrilled. I average 1 or 2 clicks a day due to a lack of visitors as the project is brand new. I still need to promote the project site. Any good ideas to get some traffic?

im not one of them douche bags that wont share things that thinks by telling a couple people the whole money making aspect will topple. Its just social networking and quick-links from a homepage. It links users directly to their Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and Pandora accounts with one easy click as well as sports a Google Search bar.

I figured since them four things sum up what i do on the internet, id incorporate them into one page. I just made something unique and easy that i would want as my start page.

Ha! Thanks a lot Aaron. Iv been researching the best "make us your homepage" script for days. I finally found one that is compatible with all browsers.

I actually just got that feature installed 30 seconds before checking your post. I dont have any banners or anything advertising the website right now. I do tweet it and I got around 22k followers. But that brings in minimal traffic surprisingly.

Any other ideas or suggestions are appreciated. The simpler it is the better. I had another row of "apps / links" under the banner but removed them about 48 after trying them out. They made the site less simple and i didnt like the feel.

Did you find that using twitter brings you much traffic?

because in normal cases its effect is very low unless they are all your friends and you ask them to repeatedly visit your site everyday.

    Very nice.

I've currently involved in a niche with high click-through rate but low pay per click.

It's all about finding the right niche and making a move.

Yes Sir. I like to keep it simple. I enjoy promotion more then content creation. I used to have a free stuff website I ran for 3 years. I was constantly making content. It was a large forum so a lot of the content was created by members. Then one day it died, allthough it had for 1800 members. It just sort of dried out.

Could you elaborate more what do you mean by posting this forum post to twitter?

what will happen if you add a link to the topic in twitter?

just some of your followers may open the topic to read a few information and then leave, so where is the usability?

Thanks ContentWizard! So what your saying is i should advertise on Facebook possibly? Do you think the ads would pay for themselves?

What do you mean by my own market? :) Like advertise a startpage for facebook and twitter and all that on facebook and twitter? Brilliant!
