PageRank and SERP? Help Please..

    Hi Guys! Please explain to me how the flow of pagerank works in this present era with so many updates on Google?

    So as with the SERP ranking factors that carry a real value that would bring your site on higher ranking.

    I'm just finding a hard time with this matters. Please put a light on it guys....

    hi Justinpage yesterday I was reading a blog post on Googlewebmastercentral blog, the Webmaster Central team has been telling webmasters for years that they shouldn't focus so much on PageRank as a metric for representing the success of one’s website. Google's internal page rank algorithm is totally different from page rank we talk about. I think back links from authority and relevant websites can provide a good link juice to your website which indeed helps in achieving rankings in SERPS. Focus on building quality back links to your website and just forget PR.

    You are right it has become a very tough matter now a days. but if you just think about the SERP position then it will be just OK. don't think about the PR just work hard to get visitors and attract them with the quality contents. these will be enough. :)

    Focus on quality of content more now. Do blog commenting and bookmarking more, as these are still showing positive affect on SERP.

    first you have to do on page optimisation and make your content unique and provide best keywords in title,meta,alt tag,anchor text etc.then put website link in various directories,social bookmarking sites,article submission,blog posting,blog commenting,press releases etc but mind one thing always try to put your link where you can get DO FOLLOW link and also the other websites are relevent and consist of page ranking greater than your site.
