I like it. Although your logo and name looks very ugly and pixelated, use a proper font that isn't so boxy and pixelated if you know what I mean.
probably can .. i`m working on a couple of new sections for the website .. videos and screenshots .. its gonna kill me on the bandwith :S
Well it doesn't look very good, it's very low quality One more thing, I think what EGS is talking about is the ugo logo: http://www.ugo.com/
what resolution is your screen at ? I`m running on high resolution and it looks good to me. The font`s style is pixelated .. every letter that has some kind of diagonal in it .. like "M" or "N" will look "pixelated"
thanks man! I`m updating the website in the upcoming days ... new sections will be opening! Gotta get it ready for PS3 launch! I also wanted to know .. my bandwith is 60GB a month .. do you guys think it`s going to be enough ?
Personally not in the long run, although you should be able to check with your stats and see how much bandwidth has been used just now, divide that by unique visitors and then figure out how long your 60gb will last. I'd think you'll need at least 100gb if not 200gb to be on the safe side. To give you an idea i have a forum which is alot less image heavy and it uses 15gb a month with 20-40 uniques a day. Wayne
This is a good site. There are some things that may or may not appeal to me personally, but judging it by the target market, I think it works. The forums seem to be nicely integrated, and the ads - although present - are not off putting. Overall, it gives a solid, professional feel and provides content that should be useful to ps3 fans. Well done.
From what I calculated so far ... with 75k uniques a month .. I`ll fill up my 60gb bandwith. This means that with 2.5k uniques a day will fill it up. Do you guys think i`ll do more than 2.5k hits a day? Right now i`m doing close to 400-500 uniques a day.
Thank you, I appreciate the positive comments. May I ask what doesnt appeal to you? I like to hear the good and bad comments .. will help me improve the website! thx
Very nice... lots of images though, may cause slow loading on poor connections. Otherwise, good job, your site looks great.
The site is neat! Good job! However, I feel a little misbalance in the widths of the left and right parts. Also in the left the fading separators will make it look a little too busy.
