Do you use Clicksor?

Discussion in 'Pay Per Click Advertising' started by BRUm, Oct 25, 2006.

    Hi,

I've recently become aware about clicksor, and so I've signed up etc..

The ads are on my myspace resource site, however they're quite irrelevant - Showing "Don't buy ink cartridges!" and "Website design professionals".

Is this because I'm in the trial stage, or do I need to create more content relating to myspace?

    Thanks,

    Lee.

You often get this problem with blogs and script based pages
Its often to do with the way scripts display the title tag of the page and H1 tags etc. The PPC system is then confused as to what your content is actually about and so thats why you can get all sorts of garbage ads

You can manually edit this information but that is for more advanced users

Clicksor is also a smaller network and therefore doesnt have as many advertisers

The other thing to watch with Clicksor is that they dont like it if you get visitors from other countries to the US. If they pick up international traffic coming to your site, they will disable your account

theri minimum payout if 50$. at first, it seems like they pay good per click, but late on they start paying 2-7 cents

I've heard their payout is crap. I've never used them before though, so I wouldn't know for sure.

For me, that would have been a good cpc from clicksor.

The $50 payout is solely intended so they wont have to payout. And people like me with $3 from 200+ clicks can never receive that money without using their ads for another year or more.

Clicksor have started to suck for me as well, before i managed to get $25 almost each month, since they have increase the payout to$50 i do not seem to reach even $10 in 2 months... which sucks...

Clicksor Statistics from last month (01-OCT-2006 to 31-OCT-2006)

    Total 196,890Impressions	39Clicks	$1.07Earning @ 0.02cent per click
    Code (markup):
I personally do not like BidVertiser. they never paid me... They 1st said due to system error my payment was not send and they would send me next month... Same happen with 2nd and 3rd payment and when it came with 4th they removed my account saying my account had Click fraud from multiples IPs and when i asked for proof they said the click or originated from the same ip... I had earned about $150 in over 7months but never got paid... they really suck if you take my option.

I've used them before. i don't like them because there ads are revekant but it has been the best thing I've tried so far including Adsense. (Excluding Yahoo! I haven't been in YPN for not even a month yet)

In total from Clicksor I made $68.15 cents with 124,638, and 587 impressions. Currently though, I'm not using them.

I was going to post this separate but kinda fits here.

If not Clicksor and Adsense not an option (gambling site) then who would you recommend?

I have used both, im still using clicksor, but my ctr is 1% and im earning 10 cents a click. bidvertiser had a little lower ctr on the same spot (0.8%) and the payments were always different, but on a avarage of 1000 clicks they made me 8 cent a click.
Anyways, you are safer with Clicksor or Bidvertiser then with adsense, they can ban way to easy..

Btw, bidvertiser sent me a check after 9 days of the end of the month.

Clicksor revenues are miserable...I wouldn't bother with it unless there are no other alternatives.
