Obama Adminstration Selling Guns to Mexican Drug Lords? REALLY???

Don't you ever get tired of lying? You claimed it as fact that "Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder not only knew, but he lied to Congress in May when asked about it!" Knowing your track record, I simply asked you for a credible source.

I'm not even defending Holder, but am interested in the truth (unlike you). Do you know Project Gunrunner started in 2005? The speech indicates they are adding personnel along the border as part of Project Gunrunner. The speech was before Operation Fast & Furious even began. To say the mentioning of "Project Gunrunner" in the Apr 09 speech proves he knew they were allowing weapons to walk in an operation that hadn't even started, is idiotic at best.

 

A proven lier (besides Corwin) is the previous Administration et. al. - George Bush and the Deliberate Lie of WMD (weapons of mass destruction) that was used to engage the United States into a meaningless and unprovoked war that is primarily responsible for the deepest Recession since the Great Depression.

Now really Corwin, if you have such a concern for Truth and Justice who more deserves the weight of Justice and a proper Sentencing - President: George Bush or Attorney General: Eric Holder? - that is, if you had any Integrity.

Rebecca, get a grip. Read up. Gunrunner was the original name of the project. But in September 2009 Holder extended and renamed Fast and Furious. It had the same personnel, same management, same operations. The change was that, when it was called Gunrunner, the intent was to DENY guns from going to Mexican Cartels. The program was renamed Fast and Furious when it's intent was turned 180º to ENCOURAGE GUN SALES to Mexican cartels and allow the guns to enter Mexico.

Holder knew about Gunrunner. He had to know that Gunrunner had changed. He had to sign off on the mission change and renaming it Fast and Furious. He had to sign off on it.

I think even you will agree that you can't have one program to discourage gun sales, and another program to encourage gun sales. It was under the same program management.

Holder knew.

Now, stop lying, Rebecca. Do your research and stop behaving like a child.

 

I've yet to see Corwin lie here. His posts are generally backed with supporting evidence and facts.
The administration that "lied" (assuming they were actually lies) about WMD's was the Clinton administration. Perhaps you're just not old enough to remember that fact. Any information and justification used was the product of the previous previous administration.

I think you should check your facts before making accusations.

 

Nothing new Corwin - there has been no lie - the news worthiness of the story is purely fictional.

 

I don't think Corwin was referring to the story as much as he was referring to the fact that the story refers to Holder's own words in a speech anyone can find and listen to or read in which Holder says the opposite of what he testified under oath to Congress.

No link exists to date between Fast and Furious and the Justice Dept. nor has Holder denied a link may not have been possible.

It's as simple as that. When I asked for proof, you post an article saying he had to know because he mentioned Project Gunrunner in a speech back in 2009. Not proof. Do you know how to Google?
