Many article directories is now more cautious before accepting article and now everyone want fresh article for his site. Many article directories has lost his ranking due to panda updates and now we need to be more fresh with content but is it good to add unique article in article directory. I have few questions Is article promotion is useless or it can be harmful? Do I not need to promote content of my site? Will only branded sites rank now? (As like wiki, ezine) If I add unique article on unique directory will it promote my site or article site? How my content will promote only with nofollow links? No follow and Panda... will it affect? I don’t know And many of questions comes in my mind..... Can you guild me guys?
If I were having 50 unique contents, I was put 70% into my website. The remaining post into major Article directories. Firstly, make sure your website content is 100% original. Secondly, you need to do off page optimizations such as social network, social bookmark, private network and any good link building you might have come across. I can't stress enough as SE is attracted to original content. Panda = Content = Enuff said

Don't worry too much. As long as you have good content for your main site, and you do a proper on page optimizations. SE will come to your site automatically. To SE, nothing is sweeter than original content. Although put 2 or three "copy and paste" into article directories with the same content and try to link back to your site, SE would most probably ignore similar content. However, it will know and detect where did the original source came from and give credits to the source. IMO, better don't use same content and post into article directories. I think it won't rank you any.
Let say you have 30 original article contents, 30 links will be generated. Get that 30 links and post into 1.Digg 2.Stumble upon 3.Delicious 4.Facebook page 5.Twitter I believe, this step already consider huge and rank your site high.

But some time many user come and copy content and make little modification and post them as unique. He will promote his link with my content. Is it good for me? Can google can not consider that I have a duplicate content as he has many links with sam content?

Once you are hit by Google panda, its better to improve on your seo tactics. Try to create original and informative contents, submit articles to high PR directories and look for high PR blogs and forums to post on for backlinks and traffic.
Always publish unique content whenever you do submission. Create fresh content for web pages. Avoid more adesense on your site. Do link building with niche sites.
Make different content for every internal page of your site. Make pure articles and post them into high pr articles sites.You also need to do promotion of those articles in SB and SN sites.
