    I think it's just expensive, compared to the others, so this is more like a warning not to go there! I've been with them for 4 years, and it's getting expensive, I don't know why and I don't like it, maybe it's because my domain name is popular? anyhow, stuck with them for the next two years!

    GoDaddy allows the use of Paypal unletss you are trying to take advantage of a promo. Some Godaddy promo allows the use of credit card for a single transaction. 1and1.com also allows the use of Paypal. They also have cheaper rate. Hope it helps.
