Your latest user is onlineshop5 - how many of the users are spam bots? I know this is a problem with phpBB right now. Also, Michael says you tried to sell this before? or did you buy it from someone else? Thanks.

 

There are a few spam users, not sure how many. I try to keep on top of them and delete the ones I find but haven't had too much time to monitor it lately. As it says in the OP the site isn't being sold on current traffic or revenue.

Looks like this site really went down the drain. There is no Britney Spears Forum.. Just a page of adult affiliate links. Did you ever sell this site?

 

No of course not. I just decided to take down the forum that I'd been building up for over a year and put up a bunch of adult affiliate links.

Yes it sold about a month ago to another DP member.

LOL this reminds me of a site I bought back in like 1999 titled Christina Aguilera Picture Palace. The site had a decent flow of traffic, and loyal visitors who were fans of Christina Aguilera. It was hosted on tripod, which was a free server. I slowly diminished the site with adult ads. Eventually the site was only one page in length, and only contained adult affiliate links like this britneyspearsforums.com site. It eventually got deleted from tripod. Anyways, the dp member who bought the site did nothing with it? Or did he/she just change the address of the affiliate links so they direct to reflect his/hers affiliate id's?

 

jaiz - i was trying to be sarcastic in my post. The new owner change it into a pornfest not me. Personally I think it was a bad move but hey it's not my call anymore so good luck to him.
