I am starting to do up my company's Facebook page. Wonder what is the fastest (won't get be banned) method of increasing one's "likes". Keen to share your experiences?
- Contests - Advertise offline on radio stations, the bus, etc. - Put up posters at local community centre
if you want to increase face book likes with a legal and ethical way then its not possible very quickly. you have to do it at a constant rate and of course not so fast. other wise your account or page will be banned. so be careful.
contests are effective for sure.. I was once participated in a blog contest where you are asked to like their pages just to get at one entry for the contest... but be sure the price are/is AWESOME...
There is one and only way to increase your facebook page fans is facebook marketing. Through facebook ppc advertisement you can make more and more fans on your facebook page and this is the most safe way to increase your fan base. In my social media case studies I have seen many companies fan pages where I seen more then a million fans within 2 weeks through facebook ppc ads for the fan page.
I have came across an interesting facebook page, that page allows you to view some interesting 'how to videos'... But to access that you need to 'like' the page before you access it. I really found this interesting. You may try this if possible for your company's page.
Try to add more friends on your account and then make them to like your pages. If you add unique and attractive content, then definitely people will like your page. If you get more than 25 likes, you may get Page title name into URL. It will help us to get Good SERP
Make as many friends as you can. Make your age attractive, add contents, daily offers, make quiz's, Ask something. After 25 likes you will page title into your URL which will really effect in search engines. You can make audio add and deliver it through radio and TV.
give users an incentive to like your page, like a freebee or allowing them to access something for free
Imagine if you were in the other person's shoes. Why would you like a company page? Is there an emotional connection? Do I personally know the owner or someone who works there? Look at your personal connections to get some easy wins as in get them to like your company page. That is always a great place to start. Creating incentives is an effective way to acquire likes as well. There's really no other reason for someone to like it unless you provide some unique extraordinary product that compel them to click the like button.
