Is seo Dead Has SEO been converted into kind of spamming. Many SEO techniqueshave been exploiting these techniques so badly and are creating a channel of link spam, building thousand of crap links and thus abusing the whole system. Google is claiming to be too strict regarding all kind of spamming techniques, and I will not be surprised if Google bans site that are into business of doing link building through spamming. Blog commenting which is treated as Link Building technique by many SEO has been exploited so badly that many SEOs are only concentrating in doing blog commenting, and guess what, its blogger.com which has been targeted for this purpose. You do have a point but I think SEO is NOT dead...not by a long shot. Yes commenting b.s. on other blogs or using automated commenting scripts are going to become a thing of the past (hopefully). Your post right here on this forum will generate a-lot of "comments" as to your suggestion about seo being dead. Hopefully most will be actual folks who have their own opinion or some insights about your post. I believe DP is doing their best to keep out the spammers as does google and rightly so. Comment and content spamming will eventually fade away as did other spammy techniques but good non-spam SEO techniques will always be around. Remember spammers and scammers only want one thing...Your money! Just my thoughts on this Paul Paul
SEO is not dead and will never be, as well as spamming. And SEO is basically branch of spamming technique to search engine, in a good way.
I think SEO is very much alive. As for spamming most webmasters can tell a spam message vs a real message on the blog and thats how seo's win real messages not spam bots, we actually get approved when blog commenting. any link is spam unless someone places it for you is what some people think.
SEO of real legitimate content is not dead. Google is always fine tuning the algo but if you have strong content and fundamental on page and off page optimization you'll be in the game. Google's job is get you to the best site for your search, so put together pages that users will actually get use of. Social search factors are becoming more important and something else to keep in mind and experiment with also.
SEO is organic and because of this it will always be an important aspect for advertising your websites. As such it is constantly changing and being re-defined and are more an area of 'ideas' rather than 'rules'.
SEO cant be dead.. because without SEO people they wouldn't be able to legitimize the schemes people do to pay big money to be at the top. for example, If you made a scam where only select people could be in top space...everybody else would raise hell. BUT, if you establish a whole market of SEO , then you can hide the big money factor and say = "its anybodys game, depends on how well your SEO people do" SO we're not a dead market , we were never much alive. LOL We're only there to get work form the business that believe their site can get to the top with SEO , therefore to cover the big money scams of big networks. It can be done though, Ive seen it ..once a long time ago in a galaxy far far away...and how grand it was , but hmpph.. those were Sith
SEO's not dead .. it's saturated. There's too many people who can't produce results on their own web properties and yet try to sell you their SEO service. The spread between real SEO professionals and wannabe's is (IMO) going to steadily expand. In SEO you usually get what you pay for (and sometimes even when you pay a lot you get burnt).
I don't think SEO is as important these days as it use to be because of all the different sources of traffic you can get.
I don't think a spammer will be able to make a consistent result in his website, There are many websites which gets an initial boost through spamming techniques, but just go through some of the sites that are at the top results for decades, they are completely neat and clean. So you can build more and more relevant links without spamming and see the results.
