Cant stab at the rank, you would need to hold a very extensive market survey to determine that. I would say .com would be in pole position ( I dislike .net, .biz, .org)
I suppose on the first place is COM then all other TLD domain names. Then some ccTLDs like ME or WS. Then depends on your location. Because some CCTLDs require to be resident of the country ccTLD belongs to.

I'm in UK so would say .com number 1 and .co.uk number 2. People in the UK would rather click on co.uk domain as they feel it's safer.
Depends wich country your business is pointed if you want worldwide i suggest .com or .co , then .net have someproblem for direct business , but you can always monetize it some how. But for your Local business point at your country exstension .co.uk , .it, .de ,.in , .cc depends to your business Cheers EaSy7
I agree .ca, .co.uk, .au, etc if the business is local or same country, however in my experience, .com, .net, .org seem to rank the same.
.com.net.org rank the same and that's true but if you're doin local business i think is better have the domain extension relate your business (wherever is your local) tht increase you conversion rate by 75% more then .com .net .org , for who donno what .org mean is shorter for organization .co is corporate ect ect ..(wikipedia will teach you that simple google search
i just point out one of my business i'm not from UK just for let you know , my business is a Seo service (not a small one) and the domain extension is .co.uk and i can tell you my last commission was $XXXXXX.XX i can no tell my website or my money but i cantell you this with the .com domain same thing about seo service i don't reach the $2000.00 month , why ? To many scammer are out there suppose to be a SEO expert and all of em with .com Domain extension. People don't trust it anymore Cheers EaSy7
