    Yes, it seems Google PageRank matters, as of this quick updates..

    I got a PR2 on one of my site on JUN Update, but now just after 3 weeks it gone back to PR0. It seems really strange.
    Hope they need to announce about this major changes happening

    no change, it's just a very minor update after the big one of a couple of days ago. Checked 500 sites and only 2 were affected

    Yeah we also lost some pr on pages, but on other ones we got more pr. one of our youtube videos has now got a pr3. google´s algorythmn is acting really strange at the moment.

    I noticed that my websites' PR dropped to zero last June 27 (date of what is believed as the Google PR update) today however I found out that my site increased from 0 to 2 in Page rank, another major Google PR update?

    There was a second major update on July 18. It was followed by a series of minor updates that went from July 19 to 21.

    Everything seems to have settled down today.

    The rapid-fire nature of the updates was due to Google breaking a lot of stuff. They pr9ed themselves. They gave Twitter a pr0. We all know the broad mess they made of a lot of SEMs' websites.

    The Jul 18 update fixed the Twitter and Google pr issues. I have no idea what the trailing minor updates were for.

    Strange, because I thought they had an update last month, I went from 1 to 3...oh well guess I need more backlinks?

    Does traffic have any part in PR?

    I just looked because of this conversation. One site that went down one point on the update has now gone up again to where it was. :)

    Looks like the Twitter account PRs are messed up again. All mine showing 9/10. :cool:
