firstly, is your 9 websites making money? if they are not, i suggest you sell off the domains. if they are, continue to built.
1,228 domains? i will definitely work out on buy/sell domain. Sell the domain with good price and get the new domain with low price

Create ONE website that can be dynamically populated to target a specific product or keyword. Drop it into 1228 domains. Profit 1228 domains earning $5 per day = $2241100 per year.
You seriously need to develop sites and monetize them. Or you'll find yourself renewing all those thousand domains.
If it's time to renew them and you don't want to maybe you can give them to someone who is interested or just let them drop
1. I will redirect those un-built domain to those complete build site. By doing this, it will help to improve 9 websites PR, rather than hang around those 1228 domain for nothing. 2. Sell part of the domain, it this too costing to hold those domain.
You should try to park some domains on Sedo or Namedrive. Some of them relevant to those nine sites, you should redirect on different site pages. And you should try to build some more sites
hmm...i will try to sell those...at webmaster forums, marketplace etc... if i fail to sell those, i would learn from my mistake, and wont' spend any longer in domain niche..
