Google could crawl first one day, yahoo or bing the next. Just depends on when you post and when the bot was about to crawl next. Sometimes it is just the luck of the draw. Goolg and Yahoo seem to be faster generally speaking than Bing though.
Google often indexes within 30 to 60 seconds and 2-3 minutes later result shows up in search - if I take the time to properly promote a new page by all professional means and standards Yahoo is a different world but since Yahoo seems to plan to discontinue its site explorer the next few months, it also is possible that Y may close down all search some day yesterday (for 24 hrs( I had 30719 Googlebot visits and 3449 Slurp Yahoo slurp visits and 3140 Bingbot visits
well i strongly believe that Google is the one who can index a "new" page/post first (based on personal experience)
I have the same opinion with other friends, Google is the one who can index the first page of my site
I noticed this too. Yahoo indexes backlinks faster, but Google seems to index your main site's pages faster.
We can't really tell who does what first but i know tha yahoo takes time before indexing pages. On the other hand, Google crawls faster.
if we control land manage our website - then OF COURSE we know exactly how many seconds or minutes any of the major SE needs to send its bot to a new page and how many minutes it takes until that page appears in search index as result. if you don't know then you have lost control of your site access!! hence if we WANT to know, we can know exactly
It's Google, as always. Yahoo is no longer a quickie but you will get more backlinks. You actually have some 10 which someone had put up on their sites. Google may give you just 4 backlins while Yahoo will count 10 for you or at least 6=7 backlinks. So, both have their own charm
Google always indexes first, then yahoo and then bing for me. But in terms of SERP rankings, it varies. It differs from website to website. For affiliate websites, I have noticed that Yahoo ranks them the fastest followed by Google and then by Bing. But in some case especially in pure affiliate sites with almost no other content except the products, I have noticed that Google often does not even rank. Maybe that is after the Panda update but I have noticed that pure affiliate sites do not do that well in Google. And it performs best in Yahoo SERP.
