Hi DP, Does anybody try to get links from a fanpage on Facebook for SEO? I have this question because I found some fanpages with more than one million of members and I ask you if there is any value for SEO to post links to my site on that fanpages. Does anybody do that? do you know tips for getting the best of this links? or there's no value? Thnx a lot!
Yes search engine will index those link and post but not all. You try typing the fans page url at Google, then you will saw the result. Some of the fans do have high PR.
lol - ever heard about no_follow? All outgoing links on facebook have no_follow... And all links are served over facebook.com/l.php
No, because those link are directly linked to some other facebook page and that internally redirects to the actual website.
Accord to me google crawl facebook fan pages whose likes will increases constantly try to take link on pages have more likes it would be beneficial for any link on that page.
I not too sure those links is follow or not follow......but I notice some of the posting has been index by Google, so it is worth it for us to do link building there.
nofollow on facebook = not worthless. A good facebook fanpage still has some weight not as much as other links, but it can generate traffic. Not the best source but I would say it's something still worth doing. Not huge investment of time but is worth some time.

A fans page with high PR, still worth it make some link building, it help generate some traffic, but not encourage to spend more time. SEO is talking about rank result in search engine, facebook is leading of social media. Basically their market share is diffrent.
