Any Trusted Credit Card Processing Service?

    Hello,
I'm about to launch my software company and I need a payment processor that will process credit cards. Does the company needs to be registered? Do I need to provide them any paper work? Do they charge monthly for the service or take % off the sales? Any trusted CC processing companies you can suggest? I'm located in Europe, if that makes any difference. Thanks!

Yes I prefer PayPal Payment Gateway. They will keep your CC and you can process any transaction using PayPal Account.

I'm gonna use PayPal too, but not everyone has PayPal, so I need to have an alternative payment method.

It depends on if you rely on sales in store or online. If you do it instore square is very cheap and works with an iPad and my customers love it.

I hate Paypal personally. They make it so easy for the customer to file chargebacks and almost always go in favor with the customer. During the dispute process they normally will freeze your entire account which is very annoying and stressful. Paypal charges 3%. Square, which isn't very reliable and you run a chance of being non-pci compliant and compromising the customers data is 2.75%, try www.acceptpaymentsnow.net I believe it is like .50%.
