Uhh.. aint this thread suppose to be about feelings about the RED Reps?????? Anyway, whenever I get a RED Rep.... im like "wad the ****, Why????? What did I do now???"
Nope... i never gave one... dont like it... It really feels bad... don't know what people think of when giving red repps...
I gave 1 red to someone on dp by mistake..That's the only rep I've given so far and it was by mistake Personally I don't like giving 'reds',only spreading 'greens'..
some one gave me one for no reason. When I got that I was like .. wtf?? I wish I could trace that d***f***er down.
I think negative repping has a stupid application in forums. Here is my experience from the past and fairly recently. As far as I can recall I neg repped one person for comments I thought were vial and attacking on one person. I referenced it in posts and the rep. It took a real lot to neg rep, (at least on my part). That was a while ago. More recently I mod at a different forum. One member got a ton of neg rep from one other person. They had an obvious forum dislike for one another. None of the mods noticed it. The person who got all the neg rep complained. We looked at it and saw lots of neg rep from one other person over a short period of time. A neg rep attack! We undid the neg rep....since it was a variation on a personal attack and let both people know about it. Actually one of the 2 participants has stopped coming to the forum and the issue has died. I think I got some neg rep here a long time ago from one person. maybe more than that...I don't recall. More recently I've been posting at the politics/religeon section. I see sneak attacks of neg rep. They actually surprise me. Here is what happens. I get these neg reps for posts months ago...or a year ago...and I get them now. Some of the posts are so innocuous its ludicrous. The neg reps are anonymous. Its juvenile. The whole thing reflects a sneaky juvenile attitude. What is the purpose of rep anyway. It ends up being sillier and negative and juvenile in the examples I've experienced.
I have gotten a few red reps for saying completely uncalled for personal things on the politics forum. How did I feel? I looked again at what I said--and felt like a moron.
Good. That's the PURPOSE of red reps, Roar To make you rethink what you've said and stay clear of those comments in the future.
Be a man and PM me and tell me what you think instead of clicking a few buttons with your mouse and hiding behind your monitor. I could careless if i got 500000 reds. it's just a forum!
LMAO. Nuff said! When I get a red rep, I usually kick the dog. After all, it's the the dogs fault, right?
I am agree with you. We need stop giving red rap to anyone. Even we like him/her or not. I get 3 red rep. If anyone got 10 red rep. He is out from forum. Its very bad. so, stop giveng red rap. Comittment here in this therad "I never give red rep to anyone in future" But more to more Green rep. Till no green rep to me for this post What you think about this idea??? Just Idea....
Any bets on whether or not mstwntd and john just broke up - they sure are in pissy moods. I feel a red rep coming on ... I haven't given one out in a while
spot on. I couldn't care less. However, Do you think I can get a mod to mod the comments on my reps? It annoys me to log and and see foul language on my usercp. THere's just no need for it.
