I was checking the latest products on cb market place and after some browsing I ended up on this affiliate site http://www.instantspassiveprofits.com/ The site uses review and affiliate link which is totally ok, but when I tried to exit the site, it 1st used iFrame to trigger the hop link click as if I clicked on it. then took me through a series of opt ins and annoying squeeze pages and offers? my question is, is there something in cbs TOS that this approach violates? seems like this guy is making tons of money and even stealing other affiliates profits
I think it pays, but I am not sure if its violating any terms, because it's not so different from cookie injection techniques
Does clickbank care? No, they don't. As long as the affiliate makes money, they make money. And there's no evidence that affiliate steals other people's commissions because he's doing it in his own site.
I didn't see the same thing with regards to them dropping a cookie but if they are that would be against clickbank TOS..............
It is completely unethical. The Clickbank hoplink is automatically triggered without the visitor click on any link. He is using this exit script to overwrite already exciting cookie. So many affiliates may be using these technique but it is unethical and theft.
