I'm not understanding... What can't you do? Open in a new window? I can. And, I can open in a new tab. Of course I do it with a middle-click from the mouse, not a right click on the link.

Yeah - that happened to me last night! I'm sure somethings broken on my machine rather than FF - but any how I used it as an opportunity to try out Opera. Loving it btw!

Are you sure they haven't just overflowed? You know you can scroll the tab bar using the mouse wheel, or the arrows at each end?

RU serious???? mine uses a ____ load!
100-330MB (with 1-3 tabs and very few Xtensions, (1 I think))

Granted I compounded my frustrations, only having 512MB in my LT, but still it was caching like a mutha so I went and bought a 1G stick today :)

    ahhhhh, much better :D

God! I loved my previous version of Firefox, but I think the only reason they made the "Restore Session" feature on this new version is to compensate for the million times that the browser crashes.

Since I downloaded it two days ago, I'd say it's crashed on me about 8 times. Ugh :(

I love the version I'm used to (1.5?), sounds like a good idea to wait before upgrade.

I don't like the Close X being on the tabs. As I jump from tab to tab, I frequently closed a tab accidentally. Also, the Home icon looks more like an outhouse than a "home"! :)

I think I have found a bug in FF2. When I visit a new page, sometimes when I click a link, the page simply returns to the top. I then scroll back to where the link is and click again. The link always works the second time. It's as if FF2 thinks the link is a "top" anchor. Anyone else having this problem? I'm using Windoze XP, FF2 with Web Developer and Google Bar.

I just finished installing and uninstalling it again. my tabs didn't open properly (I start with about 8 tabs open to my daily check sites) and I couldn't get pages to load and after fighting with it for about 20 minutes I said WTF am I doing and took it out and went back to the old version.

It sounds like it has some awsome features but after the day I've had I am not interested in having to up the learning curve to figure it out.. maybe another day!

Yep... I've always used Firefox on Windows and Linux, but Firefox 2.0 is the first version that's good enough to pull me away from Safari on a Macintosh (there's still a few minor annoyances compared to Safari, but at this point the good stuff finally outweighs the bad when comparing to Safari).

For anyone that uses more than one computer, this is a great Firefox plug-in BTW:
