I have been submitting my articles from my blog to article directories with a backlinks back to my website (the website which has the original article). But will Google penilise me for this even if I include a link back to my domain which is the original source of the article? I just dont want Google to penilise my website for duplicate content because Google see's the article on another website (article directories).
I would imagine that it won't affect your website. It would be unfair to the original publisher if it gets penalized by other sites using its content.
you can submit the same article in the 1000 directories but they must have to be inter connected and ultimately they must have to be redirected to your main domain. that's totally OK. thanks
If you do it the right way you will have no problem. Just post on your site first and after that you post on the article directories.
I think this strategy will not work anymore. After the Panda update, most of the article directories are losing its importance. Moreover, many article directories are now nofollow to recover from Panda. So, forget about backlinking credit from article directories. You may get some referral traffic if and only if your article appear in search results.
Two things you need to know: Article directories are losing their linking value. So, SEO may not be an option. Get indexed first on your site and you can submit to 1000 directories. Google won't bother you!
I think the problem with that is you submit article to article directories that is already been published (blog). If you don't want to get penalize by google, you better use different article for your blog and for article submission.
I believe article directories can help but you can shouldn't submit the same article to every directory article, you can do spin that article and do post.
Google will never penalize your site, In source you can give original article as a reference and your website as a backlink.
