If you mean how could you make it so search engines find and count the number of backlinks to your site faster i'm afraid you're out of luck, Google likes to take a couple of weeks to update website statistics regardless.
2 weeks is a bit time to wait.. though I have learned whole SEO compaign shows its effect after 3 months or so....!!!
If you have an RSS feed on your site, submit it to pingler and leave it, the bots will come in around 1-5 days, or add a sitemap to your site and submit it to google webmaster tools and you will see the sitemap crawled in 24 hours!
Follow geester1 advice. i am doing the same thing. Use RSS submit tool. if you have SB, you can play with it by using the rss integrated export options. Exporting RSS XML list.
Depending on what you are trying to achieve pinging is a good way of getting your backlinks noticed. Say I post an author profile on some article site, it will take a while for anything to find that profile so you could ping it by posting it on twitter or a ping site... although I have never heard of pingler any link from a popular site will help the profile with your backlink to get picked up by Google quicker.
