Changing Your Country in Adsense

My Adsense account is based in the UK but I've now moved to the US. I've tried to get Google to explain to me what I need to do with my account, but it seems the only option is to open a new one.

Which sucks because I have so many sites and ad setups, etc - hate having to recreate everything.

Any alternatives or do I need to just suck it up and do it?

Thanks lifeplayer - I've seen that, but here's the thing: "we'll work with you to close your existing account and open a new account using your desired address. " I have emailed Google *six* times now, and nobody seems to want to work with me on that step!

 

You should post your problem in Google Adsense forum. They respond/help very quickly.

 

yes post on the adsense forum, but in the end you'll have to close your account and open a new one. Why don't you simply open the new one now in the us. You'll probably succeed, then change all the codes from the old account to the new one, then request for the old one to be closed. So that you won't lose money in the process of chaging ad codes.

Care to elaborate??? I don't understand how you could do this. I am currently in the US and I am moving to South Korea. I would like a way to do this that doens't require me to have to shut down my entire adsense profile!!
