After you update there is new stuff. A few days later it is now old stuff. Do your stats show where your traffic is coming from? People will keep coming back when they like a blog for the updates but with nothing new, they will not be back until you post more.

Drive more traffic. You have have to post more unique content. Readers keep coming back on your site if they find it interesting.

It could be natural shifts if your audience. Does the traffic always rebound? What's the topic?

Have you tried installing Google Analytics in your blog? It will tell you where the traffic comes from, how long visitors stay in your site, etc. These statistics will help you determine why the traffic goes down some days.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Whats wrong then? You have got a problem with a solution that you already know. Just keep adding the new content and you're in business.

Post new content every day! That's why people are coming to your site, to read the new content. Are you sure the traffic is not from Googlebot or some other search engine crawler? Maybe the traffic spikes after the new content is launched because it's being crawled?

    posting new content everyday?
why do i have to do that... ive seen blogs that are just stuffed with good content and left for months and they start being some real money makers...

all my content is original... nothing is copied!!

could it be my domain name? and lack of backlinks?

google images gives me the best traffic...

SEO isn't perfect with wordpress; you need to optimise your site to make it work for you.

Seems the problem is that you aren't updating enough. Yes websites make money by leaving the blog for months, however the content has to be timeless. If yours quickly becomes old news then this won't work for you.

Update more often. Best and only solution.

well you are posting about random stuff so it depends on post frequency and how popular the new stuf that you are posting is on google? You will have to maintain your post frequency at high..
