We all know how much google hates duplicate content. It may not index your pages or even ban you. And we also know that article writing is a great way to let others know about your site. Now the question.. If i have a very new blog and i publish only unique and well researched content which takes a lot of time. And then i decide to submit one of my post to lets say 10 other blogs to promote my site out of which 5 of them post it in their site. How will google find out which one is the original content??? Will it look for the date the article was published or it will treat the site with higher page rank, traffic as the original writer???
When submitting your article, make sure you are writing the original source, point back the article to your original website. It will be always better if you can re-write them before submit to other site
Nooooo.. Actually the opposite. May be i didn't make my question clear... Here it is I started a new blog and i post unique and original content on my blog. All i am asking is it if it will be beneficial for me to submit some of my posts (which i think are good) to some articles submission directory like ezine articles or on related blogs as a guest blogger(to make my blog popular). Or it will backfire upon me and google will regard the original post i wrote on my blog as the duplicate one...:/
although I still do not get how google would find out which one is the original, I still think you should avoid such dances. You can always rewrite your articles for submission PS: google is not god its a bot.
all of them will be treated as original articles if they have internal links between them. Google will treat them as the content from the same owner. so don't be tensed. thanks
ahh thanks. some seo experts say that its not that good to submit your articles to directories that why i asked..
The forum is full of guides telling you that you MUST submit articles into these article submission dir. like ezinearticles, just for the SEO. Personally I haven't tried this, because I am still a baginner. I just wrote my first article, soon I will post it into directories. Wish you good luck!
thanks. i am just a beginner too. But i read a lot and sometimes such things come up. So its better to confirm..
If you are submitting exactly the same article or post to a quality blog site if they are smart they might reject it. If anything rewrite it or mix it up a bit. Not only for duplicate content, but if you want to keep submitting to the same blog site you will want them to like your content. Lower budget ones probably won't put the time in to check it, but some higher quality ones and smart ones will.
