Co.cc banned by Google

The co.cc domain and all subdomains have been taken out of google search.
Does anyone know why and if they'll reindex co.cc sites?

As many free .co.cc sites have involved in scam Google banned them.
Orkut has also banned .tk sites. You should buy a domain of yourself.
One day I was also using .tk and .co.cc domains. But now I'm buying domains .in, .org, .com, .net, etc.

Yeah I know, heaps of co.cc sites are spam or malware, etc.. But there are lots of legit sites. I've already done 301 redirects but it'll probably take a while to get by link juice. :-(

Ya. But Google won't hear us. So I have bought my own domain.
    I had a domain pupul.co.cc but now pupul.org

you wont get link juice at all, because you redirect a banned site.

I am actually happy for this update.
Here is the deal, co.cc allows you to register thousands of sub domains for for very cheap (or a few a time for free) while providing no personal information (as is required when you purchase an TLD).

This allows scammers, hackers, blackhats, script kiddies to put up websites which are used to install malware or scam people out of money with NO way to trace the owner of the subdomain.

If you would like I can provide a list of quite a few hundred (that I know about) currently active co.cc and cz.cc domains which serve malware and use exploits kits to return exploits to vulnerable software.

This is a move by google to protect it's end users from being tricked by websites showing up on their results.

As mentioned previously Google owns their code, their servers and their website and they may change whatever they feel is appropriate. I for one feel that this is a good and smart move by google in order to protect its interests (end users)

Yep, your right. Google did do the right thing. However it sucks for the 1% sites that are legit. :) oh well
