Today, PayPal limited my verified account. I got over $450+ there. But now I think I can't get it back. Any help?
Hi, Happened to me not too long ago, as well. Get on the phone. At least once a day. It took me about 15 calls and more than two weeks before they actually did something about my account. I hope it's not always that bad, but from my experience I can tell you that internal communication is very bad as I had to explain the same few points again and again and I was constantly told that the problem would be resolved very shortly. Always ask them to make a note of what you discussed, so that the next call-agent will see the notes (and after a while, there will be so many notes that they feel that something needs to be done). So, in your case: Call and ask exactly what it is they need. Then send it and call again the next day etc.
This happened to me, but once I added a credit card and a lot of things on eBay. The limit was lifted.
Keep calling and if you get rejected, call again. Ask why your account got limited and steps needed to get it back to its original state. After you do the steps call them again and update them. They should verify that you did that steps and probably remove the limit on your account. There is no reason you have to wait 180 days and have a lossed Paypal account if you did nothing wrong.
I just sold things on there and they lifted it, but it might help to add your birthday or SSN, that's how my brother got his limit taken off.
it all depends on the reason they limited you. I've learned the hard way 3 times and they limit me for every little thing I do. so now I will never give then my business again as they lost me thousands. call them at the bottom of page where it says contact us.
