Now that I've went to my PayPal account and allowed Third-Party API Permission (with the settings shown on the right) and uploaded my ebook, I get the following message when I press save.

"API Access for RefundTransaction failed with the result: "You do not have permissions to make this API call."

Now what's the fix for that.

Do you have a PayPal business or premier account? I sort of recall PayPal not allowing API access to personal accounts any longer (even though you could set it in the account).

Can you double/triple check your settings on the API access then? Specifically the "RefundTransaction" permission is checked?

I was going to sell, but I don't have anything over $5 at this moment. At least, I have the API permission set up now. Is this strictly ebooks? In other words, no website content or software?

Edit: Never mind, I'm sorry, I just saw this..."if people like the new system, it can be extended to other areas fairly easily (at least areas where someone is selling something digital)... for example, content, templates, scripts, vouchers/coupons, etc...."

    Anyway, this is great!

ebooks over 50$ , sorry, that doesnt exist (check WF WSO as the best indicator)

5$ for usual 7,17, max 19.99 ebooks ? Thats to high

Sorry, im not gonna use this marketplace

I'm amazed to see a cheering crowd :D the feature itself is good but with 5$ tax (thats around 20%-30% of 95% of the ebooks sold on the internet) its just a nice programming object.

But hey, world is full of gullible people, in fact one of the definition of IM is to make money from people that don't make money so everything is ok.

Short, nice feature but tax is to high.

Well, I'd definitely say that $19.99 isn't the max for an eBook. In fact, the one that's sold the most so far is a $25 one.

Either way, the idea is not for this to be a place to sell a bunch of useless regurgitated crap. Quality over quantity is the idea.

And whoever told you the definition of Internet Marketing is to make money off people that don't make money is fool. I think you've been hanging around places like WF too much if you think that's what Internet Marketing is. lol

I like that feature however I won't use it mainly because of the fees and then no matter what the listing fee is, there will always be crap products and scammers around. An example is WarriorForum, they have a listing fee of $40 and I tell you that most of the ebooks are crap, they repeat the same thing again and again. Also because you are charging per sale and not per listing so there is a huge loss in income.

Good feature but most of the people do is sell someone elses ebook. Can that be stopped.
