Well as a starter you should post the link to the product PitchPage and provide affiliate material to your potential affiliates.
Next the price of the e-book si too low, you might want to increase it because I strongly beleive that anyone will promote something for $6/sale.

    That is only my suggestion.

    Thank You!
It has been one of the most rewarding things I have experienced!
I learned soooo much about the process and myself.

    I was motivated by the one question I asked myself in times of motivation;
How Bad Do I Want It?
I had about 5 motivating factors the caused me to finish it.

(I am writing an ebook on how I went through the process from start to finish to 1st sale!)

ClickBank has been a goal of mine, so now I want to give my book a shot, I have no excuses!

    Thanks again for your support!

You have many ways to promote your affiliates page:

    1. you could post on craiglist at business opportunities and get affiliates

    2. you could test and ad on clickbank

    3. get your site on first position for a high targeted keyword

btw did you do a market research before you wrote this book? how large is your market?

My testing was having people ask me over years of cooking kalua/luau pigs in the ground, was the one question I was always asked, "How do you do that?"
I have marketed it and have sold almost 20! (18) I advertised on classified ads sites and directed people to my sales page and got affiliate credit on all!

I just want to be sure I do everything with ClickBank as possible that's free! Then I can pay to have other things done.
But for now free is good, cause I can learn.

    Any suggestions are welcome!

    Thank you!

20 years to finish a book about cooking a pig?

Is there even market for this topic? How many people per year cook this special type of pig?

However, I wish you all the best with your product...

You probably want to bump it up to 75% as that will get affiliates more enthusiastic about promoting it.

I think if you were to expand the niche a bit that you might have a decent sized market, maybe add more luau style food ideas to serve with the pig.

It would have been nice to see a video/picture of the finished product, some mouth watering fall off the bone pork is enough to motivate a lot of people.

I imaging it's very similar to a hangi that we have here in NZ and everyone loves a hangi...

Get some affiliate material out for your affiliates and good luck with your product.

Congrats on the first clickbank sale and more importantly your 23rd wedding anniversary.....

What you also want to do is start showing your conversion rates to attract affiliates, check out chris's thread here:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2161676

You see he constantly updates the thread with conversion rates and good conversion rates will attract affiliates...

You may want to get some banners made or even the site redesigned but that is something you can split test.

I sent a PM with what looks to me to be a great mini site designer at a fantastic price...

Not really a market for this, however, the main reason is nobody knows how to could a pig in the ground!
When you visit Hawaii, chances are there will be a Luau that you might attend. they might show the pig coming out of the ground, but will quickly describe how its done!
By the reaction over 30 plus years of cooking pigs in the ground, I am always asked, "How do you do that?
Based on that question is why I wrote this ebook!
I think more people would do them if they just had my 'How To' book :)

    Thanks

20 years for creating that book! your going too fast man :D,
They say the marketing is toughest step so how much will it take you? maybe you need to start passing it to your children from now! :D
Also you need the market research before any launch you make.

You should remove the "Sales page" notation in the title of your PitchPage, people know what it is, and for the sake of the search engines, you can add something like "How to .... "

    Best of luck

try to find websites from the same niche, cooking, etc.. and send an e-mail to admins with a joint venture proposal. They should have e-mail lists with targeted clients, if they like your product, they will blast an e-mail and you can make a ton of sales.. Try to make as many connections as you can in your niche.

Also, about the 20 years thing.. I think that if you make some money, you should hire a guy from elance to write your books for $100.. because the next thing you need to do.. is to create more products.

It's a good thing to add an upsell as well.. so you and the affiliate earn more $$ / client

    Good luck!
