Hey guys, I need a urgent help. Some friends called my dad and they say they want my laptop for few days to conduct a seminar and i dont wanna give since i know all those guys are going to f*ck it and give back. I told them simply that my laptop is not booting but they thought that i was lying (and i was actually) and told me that they will repair it. So pressed me to give. Now i want something to make my laptop stop booting and appear as if spoiled completely. Like some error messages at booting time... so that i could show it to them and they would give me back. I am sure that they wont be able to repair as they are novice guys. And i want it ASAP in a small time... And when i get it back i should be able to again start my system safely and remove the hack..... anyone can tell me any solution about how to do it. Its new one and if it goes into their hands.... they will surely f*ck it i know it. regards aditya
1. Remove the Battery... 2. Use up all the battery until the Lappy shuts down.. And when they come to fetch it... say you have misplaced the Charging Adapter and the battery life is Dead. 3. Remove the RAM Hope that helps... let me know if you need more Options..
Good Idea .. I guess it would be better if you remove the Ram and say its not booting ..if u say u misplaced adapter..then they wil say i will get a new adapter lol .. so better remove the Ram .
4. Your hardisk crashed suddenly and you have immediately given the Laptop for Repairs 5. Yesterday while you were playing an Old Audio CD in the Laptop... the CD CRacked into peices inside the CD ROM... and You immediately rushed to give your laptop for repairs... 6. Tell'em you have a important urgent meeting fixed with a client .. and unfortunately have to take the Laptp along for Presentation
I dont think theres any such software available... and even if there is.. i dont think you should risk your new laptop with such Software... Take minimum risk.. unscrew the back.. and pluck off the RAM.. End of the story and end of your good relations with them.
You may lost few friends in this way. I don't think you also like those friends. So this is the best way.
yep... i am 17 an its actually my fathers lappy but i use it 99% and he doesnt touch also... he can give it but i will be the one to suffer..... BTW... will i have to open the system to remove the RAM...and when i remove the RAM, what will happen,,, will the system boot and show error or it wont even boot at all.
Depends on its Make ( Try to follow from Manual ) It will just start ..no display...nothing will happen
Simply Don't try it if you are not sure otherwise, you may have to really rush to give your laptop for repairs...
yes you will have to Unscrew the Back.. for a while... Since, you seem a bit skeptical about opening the Lappy, I think the best way is to tell them the Battery is used out.. and the adaptor is not with you (You've misplaced it or gave it to a friend because he needed it urgently as his Adaptor had broken... Im sure they wont by one just for a days use,)
but they will since they may have other chargers and adaptors ... its actually going for a seminar or a workshop where 10 laptops are required and they are falling short by one....
man... i know my laptop once it goes in public place means gone.... those guys all their computers have viruses.. and will be connecting it here and there. I wanted some software help like some important system file which i would delete and it could stop the system from booting.... or any such software method
