Automatic Directory Submission Effects

I like semi-automatic tools for directory, as it same my time and not banned by search engine. I not recommend it for blog or forum, as comment and feedback should be unique. One of my existing blog has been spam by auto submit tool, those comments are totally not relevant to my post. 88design.org/?p=82#comments (I approve these comments, because I would like to tested the spam effect)

 

Please submit your site manually to directories especially to seo directories, it will benefit you to increase rankings as well as help you to increase possibilities to get listed in directories.

 

It is make sense to do manual submition for single website, when come to situation to manage 50 website, we still need to depend on certain tool.

 

search engines gives more important of your website link if you have submitted link as a manual.manual submission is a good way for improving your website ranking position.

 

Everybody says the same thing that you have read on the internet. How flipping google is supposed to know if your site was submited manually or auto? No way to know. Forget all the bullshit that expensive seo experts write. They say manual is better just to make sure you will not be complaining about their high fee. They do the same auto submission.

 

The conversation for directories approval is low; in 100 submissions about 10 directories approve listing. The conversion rate is low. In order to achieve certain number of links, we need to submit more links.

I do understand get listing in quality site like DMOZ is better than listing at 100 low quality site. But the problem is, DMOZ is hard for approval. Others high trusted site like BOTW, yahoo listing and business.com are offer pay service.

If we can’t obtain the quality, it is make sense to get a tool for quantity submissions.

 

In seo factors is directory is very important part in off-page submission you submit a manually post so this is helpful to in increase your traffic and also keyword.

 

Yeah i agree with you that automatic submitter keep your site in same directory if you submit it manually it has more advantage.

 

Everything I have read on this forum and other sites is that Google and other SEs are trying to think like humans. They want to provide the best result possible, so they are only interested in links and pages that appear to be relevant, which only comes from crafted link building. If you blast out your link everywhere, it is not targeted and thus not relevant. Its kinda like advertising - you could spends thousands on a advertising program and not get a great return because it is not well targeted. SEs are looking for laser-like targeting.

 

When doing all submission manually, and the submission not approve by the particular directory. Do you think it is wasted effort? If the auto submission tool can damage a site, then we can use the same strategic to damage competitor site. End up this will not create a healthy SEO cycle.

 

This is the spamming use of automatic directory submission software. Google and other Search Engine banned your website. Do manually submission for article, social bookmarking. It is very effective also this manually activities of SEO is the search engine friendly.

The point is that when you submit automatically, you mainly use some "open" bases, i.e. article lists which are used by thousands of other submitters. In just a while quite all the directories from this list are getting spammed and generally either fail to approve the submitted site (because of the high volume of the incoming requests) or accepting every submission thus turning into dumps where your site could easily appear alongside with viagra etc. which I believe is not good surrounding and most probably google could "think" the same and penalize your site.

If you can make your own directory list, tune it in the software you use, like describing and then correctly choosing the category, allowed number of words in description etc. etc. Constantly updating this list in order to have fresh directories and delete dead ones. Then it could be a good instrument. But not sure what is easier - to submit manually or to maintain such a list. Depends on the volume of sites you are managing.

 

I think its better using manual submission, it takes time but safer
