Hello, in the hoplink faq no. 16 is writtenhttp://www.clickbank.com/hoplink_faq.html) Yes. We will pass up to 64 bytes of QUERY_STRING data through to the target url. For example: http://bonnie.clyde.hop.clickbank.net/?xx=1&YY=123abC Would redirect to... http://clydes-website.com/script.php?hop=bonnie&xx=1&YY=123abC Do you use this feature ? Is this a kind of sub-id-tracking ? Does it mean, at every sale you generate you see the additional parameter from the url ? Thanks, Swen
as a vendor, I use it to re-direct the surfer to different landing pages... you can see more details here: http://www.redarchive.com/affiliates.php
Hi, thanks for your answer. Can your affiliate see in the clickbank-statistics, from which landing-page they made a sale ? Thanks, Swen
No. But I do offer google/yahoo conversion tracking so if they use different landing pages and have different campaigns set up, trough google/yahoo they can see on which campaign they made a sale, and thus through which landing page.
Some vendors offer this option to affiliate. For example with a dog training site, you can redirect traffic into barking, peeing, puppy, chihuahua... I love those vendors, because I get higher conversion rate by sending customers to targeted pages.
